I have just read an article on “austriantimes.at” and it talks about the inflation.
Basically what it says is that the inflation in May was just 0.3 per cent year on year and that’s the smallest monthly rise since April 1999.

Statistik Asutria reported that prices in May were 0.3 per cent higher than in April.

The state statistics agency said that the May increasewould have been 1.8 per cent if the prices of fuel and heatin oil had not fallen by so much during the past year.

I have just read an article on „austriantimes.at“ and It talks about the traces of cocaine in the Red Bull coke.
Basically what it says is that the Austrian agency AGES found cocaine in Red bull.Futhermore the Austrian health service said that there was no danger of becoming addicted because ther isn't enough cocaine in the drink.

What surprised me most were the facts that the energy drink lost its status as a foodstuff and became subject to the German narcotics Act and that in nightclubs the demand for Red Bull coke is still increasing.

Saint Patrick´s Day

Saint Patrick's Day is an annual feast day which celebrates Saint Patrick, which was one of the patron saints of Ireland. It is generally celebrated on 17th of March.
The day is the national holiday of Ireland: it is a bank holiday in Northern Ireland and a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland.
Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated worldwide by Irish people. Both Christians and non-Christians celebrate the secular version of the holiday by wearing green, eating Irish food and green foods, drinking Irish drinks and attending parades, which have a particularly long history in the United States and in Canada.

Dress Codes

In many British Schools students have to wear school uniforms. The reason for that is that everyone should look the same and nobody should see the difference between the poor and rich students. But in my opinion, schooluniforms are nonsense. Every student should be allowed to wear what he likes and show his own style. After a while the schooluniform gets boring and its very unpleasent if everybody at school wears the same as you. An advantage of the school uniform is that the students have no stress in the morning, beacause they don´t have to think about what they should wear. I think, schooluniforms in many schools looks very funny, and the students would be much happier if they were allowed to wear what they like.

My Community Is Mauthausen

Mauthausen is a small village near linz.
It has an area of 14 km² with about 5.000 inhabitants
The Mayor of Mauthausen is Thomas punkenhofer, who is a member of the Social Democtratic Party of Austria.

Other communiti´s near Mauthausen are Schwertberg, Enns, and St.Georgen, where you can go by the train or bus.






One of the famous buildings in Mauthausen is the former concentration camp. Its the biggest one in Austria and a famous sight in Mauthausen. It was built in 1938 and used until 1945. It is today a interesting sight for many tourists.
There are other sights like the 15th century church, and the Pragstein Castle which is built in 1491 from laslo from Prag. The castle is owner of Mauthausen since 1900 but at the moment it is used as a flat.



They are many activities in Mauthausen for young and old.
We have an outdoor swimmingpool, two footballfields, a tennisfield and nightclubs.
